Oh thank you! Well, I’ve been wondering whether to put this out for a while, you know how it is. I’m a bit of an artistic jack of all trades, not sure which I like best. At least I won’t get bored. I am, as always, very grateful for your comments.
Hi David,
this is so good! The poem, the painting and the performance, all 3! The music made me dream away… I have read the poem, out loud, but this is the way it was supposed to be spoken! 🙂 I hope you keep doing these on wp !
And I love the way you speak your English.
Hi,
A fantastic video, I love it, the poetry, the painting, the guitar, it is just so beautifully done, i throughly enjoyed the video, would love to see and hear more. 🙂
David, I will listen to your playing and reading in another location soon. However, I did immerse myself in the movements of your couple-on-a-dune painting and am mesmerized. Your paintbrush is so gentle.
A simply beautiful production – hearing your moving voice, your guitar, the words of the poem, and the painting!! This took my breath away, David – it’s just stunning creativity all the way around. I’ll be back to view/listen again.
This is an incredible piece David. The atmosphere you created is wonderful. I really like the camera slowly changing the perspective of the painting, as the last words are spoken. Bravo!
This is absolutely gorgeous! Particularly as it’s not easy reading poetry aloud to a background of music without it sounding forced or corny. You achieve it all without any of that. Beautiful words and imagery and beautiful guitar playing and music. Thank you.
Wow, David that was amazing! You’re so good at the guitar. 😀
