World Tarot – Is it Going to be a Mad March?

Card deck used: Golden Tarot by Lo Scarabeo.

Tarot spread used: Days of the Week or Luminary spread. Centre card = the Sun; top left = Moon; top right = Mars; top = Mercury; bottom = Jupiter; bottom left = Venus; bottom right = Saturn.

I asked about the world in March. I got 4 Major Arcana, and 3 court cards. This will be a key and important 31 days.

The World was drawn as the centre card! An important month of change and renewal, endings and beginnings and, most importantly, new hope for all in this realm.

Queen of Swords in Moon position. I think we can expect some better news, bringing some clarity and justice to the situation (health too?) to ameliorate our feelings, especially in regard to our families and nations.

Knight of Swords in Mars position. Swift action and counter action likely on the military front and more clarity in the ‘fog of war’.

The Empress in the Mercury position. I think the news is going to make the news! Expect a more balanced, diverse output from various media sources.

The Hermit in Jupiter position. At times, being in the know can be a lonely place, but the truth is paramount however unpalatable it may seem at first. Others will follow.

The Star in the Venus position. However ‘bad’ things may seem to be, there is a force for good out there – looking out for us. Praise yourself, look after those around you.

King of Coins in Saturn position. Ultimately, the major outcome of this month will be practical. Money, currency, banking, investment, commodities, metals and securities, all will be highlighted and be the underlying reason for all the action – in the pursuit of establishing ethical and humanitarian ways of running our lives on a practical, sustainable footing.

Is The Pandemic Narrative Over? Tarot Reading

This is my 7 luminaries, or days of the week spread. For me the answer revealed here is yes… but….

Governments are starting to change their attitude and stances slowly, some quicker than others, but there remains caution.

That said, there is a sense of taking the initiative and accepting freedom. Most especially, people’s minds in general are about to likely flip, their attitudes changing fundamentally, once they realise the situation and start to tell everyone else and open up.

The overall sense of relief and emerging from an emotionally draining phase in our lives will be tantamount, leaving the majority grateful and happier that they can begin to look forward.

In Note Form:

Sun – overall situation – King of Wands: Leo; assurance, proclamations

Moon – feelings, responses – Knight of Coins: Capricorn; practical concerns, caution

Mars – action to take – Queen of Wands: Sagittarius; explore, consideration

Mercury – mentality, media, neighbourhood – Wheel of Fortune: change your mind!

Jupiter – higher mind, philosophy, travel – 8 of Swords: 2nd decanate of Gemini (Venus); an achievement reached, enjoyment, communicate it

Venus – values, feel good factor – 6 of Cups: last decanate of Scorpio (Moon); sense of relief, overcoming

Saturn – outcomes, resolution – 3 of Cups: last decanate of Cancer (Jupiter); spiritual progress, understanding

Tarot Reading – Week Beginning Monday January 17: Accentuating the Feminine

There is plenty of feminine energy this week, perhaps as befits the full Moon in Cancer on Monday.

Overtly: The Queen of Cups corresponds to Pisces in general. She is generous, charitable, protective, compassionate, understanding, yet capable of giving authoritative advice too. Similarly, we must be equally understanding with each other and accept that things can and will get better if we allow them to, always recognising the spiritual bond between us.

Covertly: The Star is number 17 of the Major Arcana, which reduces down to number 8, reflecting the number of stars in the card. Behind the scenes of the present situation, many good things are happening. Despite what we may think, these achievements result from many different considerations, but all ultimately for the benefit of humanity and securing our future. The light of the sun, and the stars, does indeed shine upon us all.

Resolution: 7 of Coins or Pentacles, the first decanate of Virgo ruled by Mercury. Our everyday activities and our health are highlighted and will ultimately see benefits this week. We shall, towards the end of the week, see real progress in strategies that will make our lives just that bit easier and tolerable, healthwise, and in the workplace.

What Can We Expect in January? Oh My! Surely Not Good News..?

I recently did an overall ‘luminary spread’ for the year 2022 and it looked more positive.

So what can we expect in January? I asked the cards that question. For this reading I used the the rather lovely Soprafino deck.

In the Sun centre position I drew The Chariot. It would appear that we can expect some changes, sudden, fast moving events which may shock many. This card is number 7 in the major arcana and so any such changes ought to be quite significant and meaningful, hopefully progress towards freeing up the world.

You Can’t Take My Freedom?

The Moon card position to the top left was the 3 of Wands, corresponding to the last decanate of Aries ruled by Jupiter. I think we should see events that will lighten our hearts a little, allow us to breathe and to smile and make us feel more like human beings once again within our family circle and emotionally.

The Mars card to the top right was the 4 of Cups, which relates to the first decanate of Scorpio ruled by Mars. I think we can begin to feel more self assured about what to do in our lives. We have taken a lot over the last two years, now is the time to move forward steadfastly, secure in the knowledge that we are indeed sovereign.

Get Out And About

The Mercury card at the top is The Sun. This is card 19 of the Major Arcana which adds up to 1. Anything to do with communication, short journeys, our siblings and local environment look well starred this month. We ought to be looking at new and innovative ways of communicating, as well as reaching out to others in more traditional ways.

The Jupiter card at the bottom is the Ace of Wands, which is the 1st decanate of Aries ruled by Mars. To me this suggests that travel will truly begin to open up during this month. We should also see renewal and changes in religion, the justice system and philosophy of all kinds. The overall sense of positivity should grow in our lives.

Financial Changes?

The Venus card at the bottom left was the 2 of Coins, which is the 2nd decanate of Capricorn ruled by Venus. To add to the general feeling of posivity, I think we should all begin to feel a little more secure in our lives, that we can plan ahead and look forward to feeling good about ourselves. We may also see some significant change or split in the financial situation, yet even this would appear to be largely beneficial.

And finally we have the Saturn card at the bottom right, where we have the 9 of Swords. Now in the Rider Waite decks we all know about the upsetting imagery of this card, when really all it represents is some final attainment to do with our minds, communication or perhaps the media. The 9 of Swords is the last decanate of Gemini, ruled by Saturn. To me this suggests the culmination of something that has been worked towards in regard to the media, for some time. Are we to expect some rather significant announcements to underline the overall sense of change and renewal this month?

Of course I might be wrong, but let’s hope that January 2022 will not just be another depressive, frustrating month.
