Tarot Zodiac Spread: The Future of Britain 2022-2027

I asked for insight into the next five years in Britain. Spread used was the 1JJ Swiss Tarot.

Despite what Britain has become, it looks as though she will play a leading role in the world in the near future. There will be stronger, but fairer leadership. There will be a new beginning in diplomatic affairs, based more on ethics and the increasing involvement of younger people.

The British economy will be able to reinvent itself in ways we can’t even dream about at present. There will be far reaching changes in investments and much overseas development, financially. Much can be attained.

The country’s travel infrastructure will be reassessed, weighing up the true needs of the people. The media too will change, with a much more balanced content. The education system will also change significantly too, with much home schooling, which may become the norm.

Higher education could morph into areas like personal growth, rather than vocational degrees. The judicial system is also likely to switch to a more ethical approach based upon spirituality and ancient traditions. Long distance travel issues will be eased, with more emphasis upon water or ocean travel.

The people will become more discerning, judgemental, and will be able to communicate their opinions more easily. The government, in response to this, will seek a partnership with the people and vice versa, both becoming the same animal in effect, without the present lack of trust.

The country will become much more energetic and sportive, particularly amongst the young, with a move away from corporate sport, and towards the involvement of everyone at a more amateur level. This will be a significant achievement. At a societal level, there will be more emphasis on groups and societies that aid personal growth, probably from some spiritual perspective. The House of Commons and Lords, and regional councils, are very likely to be much reduced in size in function, and what remains will steer the course of the nation much more ethically than at present.

The health of the nation will become much more stabilised, with the emphasis moving to accentuating the positive. Similarly, the workforce will become much strengthened, with greater opportunity to ‘do your own thing’. The mental health of the nation, too, will have been much alleviated through a support network to help those who have been affected, particularly over the last two years but also in general. The idea of imprisonment will be reassessed.

Although the Britain of 2027 will still be very much a work in progress, it will be clear by then that the country, and indeed the world, will be going along a very different path.

Tarot Reading: Will England Retain its Monarchy?

I have asked this question previously, in fact several times. Each time I do not get a definitive no. I have got the impression that the monarchy will remain but in a different form.

So I asked the question again, and I got a broadly similar answer. I used a three card spread, as I often do, the centre card being the overt position, the left card the covert position and the right card the outcome or resolution position.

The three of wands is a generally positive reply. For me this card corresponds to the third decanate of Aries, ruled by Jupiter. I think the monarchy’s future will come up for some debate rather soon, but not to remove it, at least I don’t think so. The three of wands is quite expansive, forward thinking, even joyous, creative, so I think we could see a very different monarchy in the future, one that both harkens back to the past, spiritually, but also looks forward to new possibilities. This might mean a change of dynasty, or in the role of the monarch.

The Fool in the covert position is an indication that in the background the discussion about the monarchy’s future is already being seriously debated – and I don’t think anything is being ruled out. Some of the controversies involving some members of the Royal Family will have certainly contributed to the situation. The Fool represents primal energy, endless possibility, but also cautions one to ponder on decisions. Look at the dog scratching The Fool’s leg; is he trying to caution him? I think we are being warned here not to ‘throw the baby out with the bath water’, so to speak. The monarchy is the one steadfast element remaining in the English ‘constitution’ and I believe nations will remain an important factor in the future. Yes, changes are almost certainly needed but we should be careful what some of us may wish for.

The resolution card is The World, card 21, which also adds up to three. For me this indicates that the future decision in regard to the English/British monarchy will have a profound and universal effect. It would seem that England, and thereby Great Britain too, stands to have much influence in the future world, particularly its new monarchy, whatever form that may take. I do not think this means a united world ruled by the British monarchy! No, that would be awful; however, it could be that somehow it will become a spiritual beacon for the rest of the independent nations of the world to follow, however unlikely that might seem right now.

Whither the British Monarchy?

I asked for clarity on the future of the British monarchy. There has been much speculation about this in recent times. I drew 3 cards for the immediate situation, covert situation and outcome.

I wanted to encapsulate it in 3 short phrases, 1 for each card according to my ‘intuition’:

Divine transformation; initiation; new ‘divine’ marriage between the people and ‘the king’.

I have looked at this before and each time, instead of feeling that the monarchy will end completely, I get that it will be truly transformed. The devine feminine energy here seems very strong, hinting of a very different type of institution, perhaps not an institution in any normal sense. The sense of the devine is strong in all 3 of these cards.

Of course, I may be wrong. Maybe this will be a reinstatement of the spiritual relationship between the people and the monarch, I don’t know. I am thinking of a kind of priest king or queen. But watch this space, I think developments are imminent, certainly by spring if not much sooner.

May Announces Resignation – Astrology Musings

So, finally, the British PM has decided to call it a day. It was sad to see her so upset though – she’s done her best.

But from an astrological angle, what did the mundane chart of the time of her public resignation show?

Positive

Well, for a start, it’s a more positive chart than some I’ve seen during this protracted Brexit process.

There’s a Leo ascendant and an Aries midheaven. Decisions! Albeit in the negative – she’s leaving.

Leo declares publicly, dramatically. An Aries midheaven, the ‘government’ sector of the chart, shows decisive leadership. Its ruler, Mars, is in Cancer, which may reveal something of the emotive and patriotic nature of the statement.

Open Declaration

The Moon, now in Aquarius in the seventh house, exactly and positively trine Mercury in Gemini, indicates the open declaration to the public, the outside world.

Uranus in the tenth house may reveal a change at the top, though this was hardly unexpected.

In all, this chart to me seems to symbolise a clearing of the air, maybe the chance of a new start, of sorts.

A very interesting quick look – but who might her successor be?
