Haiku: Crossing

Winter, sunny day;
honking geese crossing my path –
somewhere it’s raining

Haiku: Broad Band

Drilling of work men,
bangs of broadband improvements –
a bird on the wire

Two swans through the mist;
drops hang from dank bare branches
Crow’s caw breaks the gloom

clothes sway on the line;
patches of blue through the cloud:
a brief robin sings

reaching for the moon
through dusk’s ambient repose –
an owl is hooting
