Haiku #33

In a serene glide
mute swans push towards their food
on the riverside

Haiku #29

Outside the back door
a kitten in mother’s mouth;
more in the warm shed

A hidden garden

Is singing with the spring birds

And the voice of God

Nests are being built,
sparrows dive into hedges;
the cat is outside

Stopping on the bridge;
a low flying egret heads
into hanging mists
