Nowhere to be seen now are the old Jeffersonians, once a major American type, rebellious men who dared defend the rights of themselves and their communities from outside impositions. 2,130 more words
A year on into the Biden Presidency, where does America stand?
The Queen of Wands at the centre of the 7 day week spread to me indicates that qualities of courage, independence and confidence are growing; despite trying circumstances, the wish for freedom and a meaningul philosophy is growing paramount.
The 6 of Wands in the Moon position hints that emotionally and domestically there is a sense of overcoming those trying situations, particularly over the last two years, of course. There will emerge a need for spiritual renewal.
A Long Lasting Dilemma
The 2 of Swords in the Mars position, is a strong indication of the dilemma that has faced US troops and also those responsible individuals who have to take action. There has and still is something of an impasse within the country between the two opposing sides of the political spectrum. This is unlikely to be resolved quickly.
The Death card in the Mercury position means that there is much to change in the local environment, the manner of short distance travel and most particularly within the media industry as a whole. This doesn’t merely suggest some tinkering at the edges, but a wholesale transformation in these crucial areas, as befits Pluto’s up and coming arrival at the point it was in the 1776 independence chart for the USA. Be prepared.
A Return to Family Values
The 4 of Cups in the Jupiter position shows that home and family will enshrine a new philosophy, indicating something of a restoration to more traditional values among certain populations. Religion too may well see a great growth; having had more time to think about core values over the last two years, many millions have examined their own hearts and family and have found solace there.
The Knight of Coins in the Venus position is a further indication that more traditionally conservative values can help to make many feel better, more wholesome. A certain pleasure can be gained from looking after the practical side of life too, even finding enjoyment in routine. Home crafts and local industries are likely to boom.
The Hierophant in the resolution or outcome position underlines the likely outcome for the USA this year; there will be a return to traditional spiritual beliefs and a need to conform to them, which has been brought about by the great uncertainty of the world around us. Sometimes, perhaps at all times, our souls need a cleansing and an assurance. Many Americans are beginning to understand this, it seems.
In fact, since the end of last year Mercury has been in shadow and goes station retrograde today, January 14 at 10 degrees Aquarius.
He conjoins with the Sun on the 23rd of January, backtracking into the Goat on the 25th. He then turns station direct on February 3 at 24 degrees of the Goat, before finally leaving shadow on the 23rd.
Moving backward through the first decanate of the Watercarrier, we can expect frustration and delays in communication and travel, particularly in regard to joint ventures, social arrangements and group interests.
As Aquarius is also linked to government legislatures, such as the House of Commons, the US Senate and similar institutions around the world, we can also expect delays and even more obfuscation and shenanigans from these areas, at least until the 25th when Mercury enters Capricorn, when the emphasis will be on business and economic issues.
When Mercury turns direct in Capricorn on February 3, we might begin to see more political, business and economic clarity, and particularly from the 23rd once out of shadow. Considering the political and cultural context we are in, supposedly at the end of a pandemic, we should really begin to see things change and revealed from the middle of February onwards most particularly.
