I think most UK tests come back with a high percentage of ‘Viking’. Considering how long they inhabited the eastern half of England, that’s no great surprise. 🙂

No worries. Yes you’re right, considering the number of towns and villages with by and Thorpe name endings in the old danelaw… there must be a fair of that blood spread around, so to speak. Thank you

Near where I live, we have Horningtoft, Toftwood, Hindolveston, and many more. Good old Viking names, in Norfolk! 🙂
