‘Ull is Never Dull!
Went to Hull yesterday to see Matthew, our son. He’s doing English and Creative Writing and generally enjoying it. Had a Prezzos and walked around town and what I like about Hull is its distinctiveness, its poetry associations (Larkin etc), its history and traditions. Yes, it may seem a little rough around the edges to some but it’s real, there’s no pretence. Just how we want these days.
New Paintings on the Way!
I have completed several new larger paintings and some of these will be appearing here soon. Others will be in exhibitions mostly this year.
Beginnings of Millennium Wood, Pinchbeck

I have been a member of the Woodland Trust for many years and so was very pleased that they planted a wood within half a mile of my house.
This mixed media painting was completed using sketches I made in July 2001. They had been lying about for ages until I came across them this year. Needless to say, due to the maturity of the wood, this view does not exist anymore!
