Moon in the water
A breath of air through the leaves
Ripples at my feet

Haiku: Migration

birds against the sky
migrators through empty space
We all cry ‘mother’

A point of balance
Time and a season in tune
Enjoy the moment

And where do I walk?
My body follows the mind –
cold breath returning

Keeping warm and safe
I could carpet the whole earth –
I will suit myself
