Haiku: Snowdrops

Garden in sunlight,
washing will dry in the wind;
a sward of snowdrops

Haiku: Brew

Resting on the hill,
the season’s journey is all.
It’s time for a brew

The sun descending;
winter’s breeze through the catkins,
sharper on my cheek

Drilling of work men,
bangs of broadband improvements –
a bird on the wire

They laugh when meeting
Stances speak louder than sounds –
The cold is dismissed
